On 4th December we went by train to Dewsbury

Derek and Wendy met us at the station and took us by car to Cannon Hall where they had booked Christmas lunch for all us.

The weather was really lovely and the lunch was superb with crackers and the best of service.

After a lingering lunch we headed for the Mining Museum which is very interesting. Unfortunately it was too late for us to go down the mine this time but we will make sure we have time for that in the future.
