Brush Variance

You will need a tube

Open a new white image 200x200

Add a new layer

View-palettes-brush variance. Change colour in foreground box to black

Click on paint brush tool setting -preset round size 5 but change the step to 5o.

 Add the settings to the brush variance box on the right.

Settings-as screenshot -all other settings on normal



Paint a squiggle as in the picture-or how you wish if you want yours to be different



Effects-edge effects-high pass-radius 1

Effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope-default setting

Layers -merge visible and minimise this canvas for later

Open the tube and duplicate if you want to save it as you will be working on the tube.

Add a new layer to the tube -flood fill with a gradient to match your tube on the linear setting -angle and repeats nil

Maximise the canvas you made earlier.

Click on the tube canvas. Layers-new mask layer-from image.

Look for the name of the canvas you made earlier-select that in the drop down menu and have source luminance checked.

Layers-merge group

Layers arrange-send to the bottom

Add a new layer and flood fill with a bright colour to match your tube-layers -arrange -send to the bottom

Layers- merge visible

Click on the eraser tool. Setting-preset-round 5 but change the step to 10

View-palettes-brush variance-Fade rate 96-Position jitter 436-Impression per step 1

Click once in top left corner-hold down shift key and click once in each corner finishing back at the top left where you started. This should have given you an erased pattern all the way around your tag

Add a drop shadow-H and V 1-Opacity 50-blur 5 and colour black

Add a new layer and flood fill with a colour to match your tube-layers arrange -send to the bottom.

Image -add border-size 2- black

Resize as you wish-I did mine 85%

Add a new layer for your text. Layers merge visible.
