
Frame Included Tutorial
This tutorial
was written in PSP 9 but should be almost the
same in PSP 8
You will need my tube
here
or a tube of your choice about
the same size as mine 400 x 400
Toadies Ommadawn filter
here
Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 500
In the foreground box
of your material palette chose any colour you
like that will match your tube.
Flood fill the canvas with
this colour
Effects-plug-ins-toadies-ommadawn-settings- Cell
width 33- Cell height 33- Sharp/soft 234 -On/off
17 With your
magic wand select the black grid lines and flood
fill with a gold pattern of your choice
Select none.
Effects -distortion
effect-curlyques- settings-Columns 4- rows 4
-radius 90 -strength 70- ticked symmetric box
Selection tool on
square make a square in the centre of your
canvas and leave enough room outside to make a
frame-this needs some care to get the border
equal all round
Now selections invert.
Effects 3d effects-outer bevel-default
setting
Selections invert
Copy and paste the tube into the
selection-select none.
Resize your tube to 15% -tick maintain
original print size- and use resample bilinear.
Copy and
paste it as new layer onto the canvas duplicate
this layer as many times as you like and arrange
the images around the frame.
Layers merge visible and add new frame
for your watermark and any text.
Resize as you wish and
if you have used any artists tube that requires
copyright information don't forget to add that to
the tag.
Adjust -sharpness-sharpen if it is needed.
That's it done--I hope
