You will need a tube of your choice about 400 x 400 open it in PSP
Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 500 and flood fill with a pale
colour from your tube.
Layers -new mask layer- check source luminance box then click on
your tubes name in the drop down menu. Click ok.
Right click on the bottom layer in your layer palette-merge-merge
group.
Add a new layer and flood fill this layer with a dark colour from
your tube-layers -arrange-send to the bottom.
Layers merge all and flatten. Reduce the opacity of the merged layer
to 70.
Copy and paste your tube as new layer and resize to fit as mine
does- arrange to the bottom right of the canvas.
With selection tool on square-select a small interesting part of
your tube and edit-copy -edit paste as a new layer. Select none.
Duplicate the layer twice-arrange as I have done-click on the middle
square and image-mirror.
Now hide the merged layer in you layer palette and merge layers
visible.
Effects-edge effects-enhance.
Unhide the hidden layer and merge layers visible.
Resize as you wish. Add a border or frame of your choice. Merge
layers if you add a frame.
Add a new layer for any text, watermark and artists information.
Merge layers and that's the tutorial finished.
