Star Gazer
You will need a tube of your choice.

My gold pattern-right click and copy-paste into PSP and
use in as a pattern in your materials palette
Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 500
In foreground box of your material palette have black
and in the background box my gold pattern.
Preset shapes tool-Line width 5 and Star shape.
Draw a star about 2/3rds the size of you
canvas-objects-align-centre in canvas.
Convert to raster layer.
Effects edge effects -enhance.
Effects 3D -Drop shadow-default setting.
Layer -duplicate. Work on merged layer by highlighting
it in your layer palette.
Effects-image effects-seamless tiling.
Add a new layer-flood fill with a colour of your choice
and add a texture of your choice.
Layers arrange-send to bottom.
Layers merge all and flatten.
Add a border or frame of your choice. Mine has a small
border but it doesnt show up on thsi background
Image resize 75-check maintain original size. Resample
using-bicubic for a sharper image. Adjust
-sharpness-sharpen once.
Copy and paste your tube-resize to fit as you like and
position where you think it looks best.
Add a default drop shadow as before.
Merge layers then add a new layer for your text,
watermark and any artists information that may be
required.
Layers -merge visible and save as a jpg.
