Always the Bridesmaid
You will need my
tube here or one
of your own about 400 pixels in height
Open the tube and duplicate it by clicking on
windows-duplicate
To the duplicate add a new layer and flood fill with
white. Layers -arrange-send to
the bottom then merge the layers.
Open a new canvas 400x 400
Flood fill with the pattern of the tube with the white
background-angle 47 scale 20
Reduce the opacity of this layer to 50 as in the screen
shot
Layer- duplicate-image mirror
Click on the layer at the bottom-effects-artistic
effects- enamel-default setting
Layers -merge all and flatten
Copy and paste the tube as a new layer and arrange to
the right
Add a drop shadow-settings 2-2-80-5 and colour black
Layer duplicate-image mirror. Layer arrange-move down.
Effects-art media effects-pencil-Luminance minus
139-Colour white-blur 1-intensity 35
Reduce
opacity of this layer to 50.
Layers merge visible.
Image add border-size 25 symmetric. Chose a colour that
isn't near to the edge of
your tag as when you select the border with your magic
wand you don't want any
other parts of the tag to be selected and this would
happen if the colour of the
border is close to one on the tag edge.
With your magic wand select the border
Effects-art media effects-brush strokes on the heavy
texture
setting. Effects-distortion effects-Curlicues-default
setting except change the
strength to 100. Effects-distortion effects-pixelate-tall
blocks setting.
Select none.
Image add border. Size 2 symmetric-colour of your
choice.
Add any text that you like and that's the tutorial
finished.
