will need a tube of your
choice
Silver
Beads
here
This
tutorial is written in PSP 9
My
Gradient
Open a
new transparent canvas
500 x 500
Flood fill with my silver
gradient which can be
used from your patterns
in your material palette
angle 0-scale 250
Selections-select
all-selections
modify-select selections
border-check- inside and
border width 20
In
your patterns box alter
the silver to angle 50
and size 30 and
flood fill the selected
border with the silver
gradient .
Select
none.
Click
on preset shapes tool
Now
change the silver so
that it is in the
background box of your
layer palette and set
the foreground to null.
With
Preset shape tool on
rectangle and vector
checked- draw a
rectangle about two
thirds down the left
hand side of your canvas
and just less than half
way across and inside
your border-covert to
raster layer
Effects-artistic
effects-topography-default
setting .
Duplicate this layer and
arrange the copy to the
right hand side and
below the original
On the
copy -effects
texture-weave-default
setting.
Reduce
the opacity of the
rectangle layers to 30
When
you are happy with how
they are arranged-layers
merge visible
Copy
and paste the beads as a
new layer
On the
tube -adjust-hue and
saturation-colorize-both
settings on 0 -image
resize- 85
Then
copy and paste your tube
as a new layer
Layer
duplicate then reduce
the size of this
duplicate layer to 85 %.
Place to the left of the
tube and then reduce the
opacity of this layer to
30-layers arrange-move
down
When
you are happy
Layers
merge
Resize
as you wish then add a
new layer and any
text-watermark and
artists information that
is required.
