Open a new transparent canvas 500x350
You will need a tube similar to mine
Flood fill this canvas with a dark colour to match your tube
With your selection tool on 'freehand selection' point to point
setting-select a part of the tube to use as a pattern. I drew
around where the belt is at the waist. Don't make this a rectangle
as it won't give such an interesting effect
Paste this as a new image-then paste it onto the canvas as a new
layer
See the screenshot if you aren't sure what I
mean

Effects-artistic effects-topography-default setting.
Image -resize 300%-that layer only.
Move this to the top of the canvas-layer duplicate-image flip-arrange
on the canvas as you wish as this will depend on the shape you
selected from the tube.
Layers merge visible
Effects-art media effects-Pencil-Luminance 0 Blur 80 Intensity 90
colour edf1c5
Add a new layer and flood fill it with a gradient-linear setting- to match your tube
With your selection tool on rectangle. Draw rectangles on the canvas
one down at the left hand side and some across then press delete so that the pattern below
shows through. Select none
Effects -3d-drop shadow-Horizontal and vertical 5. Opacity 50 and
Blur 5
Reduce the opacity of this layer to 60
Click on tube and make sure that you have no selections on it-
selections-select none
Copy and paste the tube as a new layer reduce the opacity to 50 and
position to the left of the canvas -move this layer below the layer
with the rectangle cut outs
Copy and paste the tube again as new layer and-layers arrange-bring
to the top. Image mirror and arrange near to the first tube.
Add the drop shadow to this tube layer that you used before.
Image-add border-size 2 in a colour from the tube.
Image -resize as you wish.
Add a new layer for any text. Layers merge visible.
That's the tutorial finished.
I hope that you enjoyed doing it
