You will need my tubes here or some of your own similar in size to get the same result.

Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 500

Add a new raster layer

Selections-select all.

Click on the patterned tube and copy and paste it into the selection.

Selections-select none.

Image-resize 60% -this layer only

Effects -texture-texture-add any fine texture that you like

Copy and paste the patterned background tube as a new layer onto the canvas

Duplicate this layer 4 times so that you have 5 layers with this tube on them

Click on the top layer in the layer palette and add a texture to it-a different one for every layer would be nice.

Hide this layer and go to the next until you have a texture on all of the pattern layers-keep hiding them until you have done all of them.

When you have added a texture to all your layers-unhide them all and start to rotate-mirror-flip them as you wish

 then arrange in any way you chose

Use the screenshot to help you if you aren't happy with your arrangement.

When you are happy-reduce the opacity in some of the layers until you like the effects.

 Try to have all the layers a different opacity for a special effect

When you get the effects you like-layers -merge visible.

Image-resize-80%-this layer only.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer and place where you like it best

Add a new layer and type out a saying-I had 'To thine own self be true'

Duplicate this layer a few times and resize to fit in some of the patterned rectangles..

Reduce the opacity to different levels on different layers for an interesting effect

Add another layer for any final text.

Layers -merge visible

Crop off excess white canvas and resize as you want your tag to be
