This tutorial was written in Corel PSP X but should be almost the same in other versions of PSP

You will need a tube

My gold   here or use one of your own

My text layer here or use one of your own

Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 400

In the foreground box of your material palette add the gold pattern-setting -angle 0-scale 250

Flood fill the canvas with this a pattern

Copy and paste the text as a new layer

Layers merge visible

Effects-artistic effects-coloured edges-default setting

With Pick tool -push the middle node at the left hand side towards the centre so that the text is at the right hand side of the canvas about half way

Reduce the opacity of the layer to 60

Add a new layer and flood fill with the gold pattern on scale 250.

Layers arrange-send to the bottom

Copy and paste the face tube as a new layer and move this layer under the layer with the text. Also with mover tool- move the face tube to the right until it reaches the edge. Some will be on show but that is ok. Reduce the opacity of this layer to 50

Copy and paste the tube again. Bring this layer to the top.

Image- Mirror-effects -3d effects-drop shadow on default setting-arrange to the left of the canvas

Layers-merge visible

Add a new layer and send to the bottom-now click on the top layer again.

Image -resize-this layer only-85%

Add a default drop shadow

Effects-3d effects-chisel. Setting size 90-transparent-colour #8b4559 or one of your choice to match your tube

Image-add border-size 5 in the colour you used for the chisel effect

Image -resize as you wish the adjust-sharpness-sharpen

Add a new layer for any text you wish. If you used my tube you don't have to add the copyright info unless you want to.

Layers -merge visible
