We got a rail ticket for the Northern region and could travel on 4 out of  7 days and we managed to cover a lot of the region in that time. First of all we went to Linda's at the northern tip of Cumbria on the coast which meant we had travelled from coast to coast. On the way back from Linda's we stopped at Skipton and then went to Whitby and stayed here making it a centre for going North and roundabout.

Many of the places we visited we have already taken photographs before so they aren't included here. Don't want to bore anyone by having the same ones again.

This is the area we could travel in with the rail ticket we had
