You will need a tube -my canvas and tube were 274 by 365.

If you use a different tube your results may be different.

My tube and the corner are here if you would like to use them.

Duplicate the tube and minimise the original in case you need it for another time.

Work on the copy.

Hide or delete the copyright layer you don't need to add that at all unless you have to.

Layer-duplicate and work on layer below the duplicate

Effects-distortion effects-Polar co-ordinates-check polar to rectangular-ok

Image-flip

Duplicate this layer-image-flip

If your polar co-ordinate layers don-t fill the canvas at this stage-add a new layer-flood fill with a colour to match and send this layer to the bottom.

Click on the tube layer and duplicate it.

Work on the lower tube layer.

Effects-texture effects-mosaic glass-default setting

Layers- merge visible.

Duplicate your masterpiece and work on one of them

Image- decrease colour depth-2 colour depth-settings as in screenshot if you use my tube-juggle the settings if you use a different tube until you get it as you want it

Copy and paste this new canvas as a new layer onto the coloured canvas

Change the blend mode of this layer in the layer palette to overlay.

Reduce the opacity to suit you. Mine is on 20%.

Layers merge visible and you are ready to add a frame.

To make my frame you will need the corner that was in the zip with the tube

Image-add border-size 2 -colour white or a colour that isn't in your 'masterpiece'.

With magic wand select this border and flood fill with gold or any other fill you like.

Image -add border-size 10-a colour from your picture. I prefer to use a darker colour but the choice is yours.

Repeat the size 2 gold border

Before your next border click on the foreground box of the material palette and then on pattern. Look for the pattern of the canvas and select it with settings-angle 45-scale 30

Image -add border-size 20-select this with the magic wand and fill the border with your canvas pattern. Keep border selected.

Effects-reflection effects-pattern-default setting-select none

Repeat the size 2 gold border as before

Image-add border-size 35 -the same colour as your first coloured border after the gold one.

Select this border with your magic wand.

Effects-texture effects- fine leather-default setting.

 Select none.

Just one more border I promise-add the gold border-size 2 as before.

Copy and paste the corner as a new layer and arrange on the frame as you wish-if you want it to look like mine-layer duplicate-image mirror-image flip.

You can change the colour of the corner by going to adjust-hue and saturation. Or use one of your own.

Layers merge visible. Resize as you wish. I resized mine 85%

Add a new layer for any text you want to use.

That's the tutorial finished and I hope that you enjoyed doing it.
