My Fairy Ring

You will need my tube here or one of your own.

( The fairy is one I have drawn and painted myself and need to add copyright unless you have to)

Open a new transparent canvas 500x 500

Click on the fairy tube-raster 2 layer- edit copy-click on your canvas-edit paste as a new layer.

 No need to resize the fairy even though it is too big for the canvas

Effects-reflection effects-kaleidoscope with the settings on the screen shot.



Repeat the kaleidoscope effect with the same settings

Layers -duplicate and hide the top layer.

Work on the original

Effects -artistic effects-topography -default setting

Unhide the top layer and add a new layer

Flood fill this layer with a colour to match your tube.

Layers -arrange-send to the bottom.

Layers-merge visible. Reduce the opacity to 60%

Layers merge all and flatten

Image-resize 75%-maintain original print size ticked.

Image -add border-size3-symmetric in a dark colour from your tube.

Image- add border-size 30 in a lighter colour from your tube

With your magic wand select the last border.

Effects-art media-brushstrokes on default setting

Effects-distortion effects-pixelate on default setting.

Select None

Image-add border size 3 in the dark colour you used before

If you are using my fairy-click on tube -image resize-70%

Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the left of the canvas.

 If you are using one of your own resize until you can position it as I have done.

Effects- 3d -drop shadow -default setting but change the vertical and horizontal to 5

Add the dark colour to the foreground box of the colour palette and the light colour to the background box.

Preset shape-rectangle with line width 4 and line style dash dot dot

Draw a rectangle to the right of the tube as in my tag.

To add the text have the settings as in the screenshot paying particular attention to the text direction box.



Add the same drop shadow as before and that's the tutorial finished.
