How to make a pyramid card using PSP

template for this here

Find a picture or photograph that you want to use and make sure it is copyright free. I am using one of my own photographs of a flower in our garden. Make sure if it is background layer that you convert it to a raster layer

Add a frame or border of your choice or use the picture just as it is.

The size should be about 400 pixels as the graphics will need to fit onto an A4 size template when it is all finished.

When you are happy with your picture and the size save this as pyr 1

Duplicate the image-then with the selection tool make a rectangle around the picture in the middle of the frame. Copy and paste as a new image. If you didn't use a frame then ignore this instruction and start on the next instruction.

Save the second picture as pyr 2.

Duplicate this pyr 2 ** select all-selections modify- contract by 30-selections invert and click on delete. Selections-select none. Edit-copy-edit paste as a new image.*** Save this as pyr 3

Duplicate pyr3-repeat from ** to ***Save as pyr 4

Duplicate pyr 4 and repeat again from ** to *** save as pyr 5

Open a new canvas 1000x600 pixels

Add pyr 1,2,3,4,5 to the new canvas as new layers and rotate so that all will fit on the canvas.

Layer duplicate 3 times to sharpen the image then -layers merge visible.

Add any text such as your name for the template and copyright information that needs to be added.

When you are happy with it-layers-merge all and flatten.

To Make the Card

Arrange the template onto an A4 sheet-I use glossy photo paper but you use what you normally use for your card making pictures.

Cut out all the pictures and stick pyr 1 to the card.

Add 2,3,4,5 in order using raised double sided tape or squares or silicone glue whichever you like to use when doing decoupage.

Finish off the card as you wish

Hope you enjoy making these type of cards
