Sheep and jumper card

You will need some sheep-you can use mine

2 cocktail sticks with a bead on one end of each and some small balls of wool, one white and one coloured

A small strip of green card for the grass and any accents that you would like to add

The little jumpers are knitted on ordinary think needles then one is transferred to the cocktail sticks later

With your coloured wool;

Cast on 10 stitches and garter stitch 10 rows. Cast on four stitches at the beginning of the next two rows.

Garter stitch 6 rows then cast off.

Repeat the jumper with the white wool but this time don't cast off the stitches. Transfer them to the cocktail sticks then wind a small ball of wool to look as though you are still knitting. Add some glue to the ball so that it doesn't unwind.

Cut very thin lines down the green paper to resemble grass

Assemble all of your parts and arrange on the card as you like.

That is your card ready to send when you have written inside.
