You will need my tube here or one of your own about 400x 400

Open a new transparent canvas 500 x 500

In the foreground box of the material palette add a colour from your tube-one of the darker shades.

In the background box add a lighter shade.

Click on the foreground box and then on gradient.

 Look for the foreground/background gradient and have the angle and repeats settings both on 0-style linear.

Flood fill the canvas with this gradient.

Effects-edge effects-enhance

Image-resize 70%

Adjust-brightness and contrast-clarify-strength 5

Image-canvas size 400 x 400

Effects-3d effects-drop shadow-default setting

Copy and paste your tube and add the default drop shadow to the tube layer.

Add a new raster layer and with the gradient inverted-flood fill this layer and layers-arrange-send to the bottom

Effects-artistic effects-topography -default setting

Effects-3d effects-buttonize on default setting

Image-add border-size 2 in a colour of your choice.

In the background box of the material palette have the light colour you first used for the gradient and null in the foreground box.

Add any text you wish -I used MurrayHill Bd BT size 48

Add a drop shadow-default setting but change the vertical and horizontal setting to 1 instead of 10

Select none and that is the tutorial finished.
