Textured Face

You will need a tube about size 340x320

Open a new transparent canvas

450 x 350

Flood fill the canvas with a colour from your tube

Selections-select All

Copy and paste your tube into the selection

Select none

Effects-image effects-seamless tiling on the default setting

With selection tool on rectangle chose a part of your canvas. I chose one at the top right starting just less than half way but you will be selecting all the canvas in small portions so the choice of where to start is yours

Effects-texture effects-blinds-settings-width 8-opacity 26-colour white and light from left top

Select none

Select another rectangle of your canvas-it is nice to overlap the different parts

Effects-texture-weave-default setting but change the opacity to 50

Select none

Select another rectangle of the canvas.

Effects-texture effects-blinds-settings as before but  this time tick the horizontal box

Select none

Select what is left of the canvas and effects-texture effects-weave-settings as before but change the width setting to 50

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and arrange as you wish

Effects-3d-drop shadow settings H and V 5 -Opacity 50-blur 5 -colour black

Repeat the drop shadow but change the H and V to minus -5

When you are happy

Image-add border-size 2 black

Image add border-size 20 a colour of your choice.

Select this border with your magic wand. Effects-texture effects-straw wall on default setting

Select none

Image-add border -size 2 black

Image add border -size 30 and another colour of your choice

Select this border with your magic wand. Effects-texture effects-straw wall on default setting but change the angle to 150

Select none and add another size 2 black border as before

Resize as you wish -I resized 85% but this may be too large for you

Add a new layer for any text you may wish to add
