Scarborough with Wendy and Derek

As part of Vic's 50th birthday celebrations Derek and Wendy invited us to Scarborough where they were staying. They met us off the train and we went for a coffee first. Then it was a walk to the seafront to a lovely place overlooking the harbour where we had a delicious meal. Next we went on an open topped bus along the seafront and got off at the end of the ride for a walk around Peasholme Park. It had recently flooded there because of the heavy rains so the water features were in full flow. Another tea and scones at a lovely cafe-then another at the place we first started out and it was time to catch the train home again.

A full and happy day.
